Episode 11: 4 Principles to Examine a Relationship with Dr. Stuart Naughten

Dr. Stuart Naughten is a clinical psychologist and relationship therapist practicing in East Melbourne and Preston VIC. He is currently writing a book on a new working model to diagnose a relationship on four principles. With these principles, you will be able to better understand why your relationship is struggling, not happy, what type of relationship to be in, or even to better understand what went wrong with your last relationship. In this episode we deep dive into the four integrated points Stuart has explored:

  • Individual Wellbeing Management
  • Fluctuated Connectedness
  • Fairness Management
  • Conflict Management

Learn more about the art of being separate whilst together, different ways to look at a relationship and the potential impact to intimacy, and how much a relationship can suffer if one of the individuals is struggling. Dr. Naughten’s book will hopefully be out in 2025.
